Lovin Paris II

Eiffel Tower

the first glimpse

This was when I (Graeme) fell in love with Paris. Cliche no? Well, it’s true. We got to Paris by train and then met up with Jay and Ingrid. We still had a car ride ahead of us in order to get to our hotel, but he had an hour or so to kill in Paris so we decided to go to Sacre Coeur and eat on the steps. I was feeling a little ho-hum about Paris til then–the city is not all that pretty on the train ride in and the neighborhood from the station to the church looked like any other old pretty European neighborhood. Then as we were walking back to the car, I saw the tower in the distance and everything changed. I was here! In this immortal city! I had a bit of a Paris je t’aime moment and snapped this picture. (Don’t worry, I got better and closer shots later)

French girls, man. I'm telling you...

no need to add our own!

Stripes was a recurring theme in France. Stripes on the beach, stripes on clothing, stripes on textiles, stripes in the plazas!
