France says “Thank You Canada”

Juno Beach: a Canadian landing site of the WWII. The Canadians made a significant contribution to the war effort through the battle at Juno Beach. There is a small visitor center with a museum exhibit housed in a building which was designed to resemble a maple leaf from the sky. I’ll have to take their word for it since I spent the time on the beach. My parents said the exhibit was fabulous. It included a section on Canadian history and politics. The battery on the beach was accessible during the guided tour that the FOB Canadian guides led. We’re fairly sure one said guide was giving a tour to a large group of Quebecois students when we arrived…they are easily distinguishable from the “France” french students.
