The last time G and I had chicken cordon blue, it was a gift from Mama Lois D from M&M Meatshop. It was GOOD—a tough act to follow. So, after reading a bunch of blogs to learn the best way to flatten and stuff the chicken, we prepared the meal and waiting for it to cook. And waited. And tested it, then put it back in the oven. And again. And again.
And…it was amazing! Too bad we’d already gobbled up the green beans and shredded potato side dishes. Pour a little mayo and white truffle sauce on top and mmmm this is a very successful meal.
This weekend we’re hosting my cousins Esmee and her fiance Stefan. They’ve requested an “American” meal….so we’ll be sure to share the photos from that very special meal we’re preparing!
